Aluminum Seal, 11mm, Green, PTFE/Silicone/PTFE. The 11mm anodized aluminum seals are manufactured to fit all 11mm crimp top vials and are available in a variety of colors. Medium durometer silicone with .003 silicone laminated on both sides. Great for trace analysis work. Resist coring and good resealing characteristics. Use with auto samplers with blunt tip syringes.

Cap, Chem Snap, 11mm, Natural, Pre-Cut Septa, PTFE/Silicone. Chem Snap Caps include pre-cut septa where only the carrier is cut through in a Y-form, leaving the PTFE lamination intact. The unhurt PTFE lamination gives 100% protection to the sample while leaving a 0.05mm thick PTFE portion remaining for needle penetration. The Y-form in the pre-cut silicone allows for a better flow of air during sample pick up in order to avoid a vacuum in the vial.

Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials.
